ABout

My name is Nadia Guddam and I first began my career in education and later became a qualified counsellor in 2010. I have been working in the Mental Health sector in different roles for 18 years, either employed or delivering contract work for various NHS, private, third sector and charity settings.  I am currently the director of Olive Branch Therapy & Wellbeing, providing individuals, Couple’s psychotherapy and Clinical Supervision.

Background & Experience

I am a registered BACP Psychotherapist, CPCAB Counselling Tutor and University Lecturer. I completed a degree in Counselling and whilst continuing practice in Mental Health, also engaged in studying an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. I later became a qualified IAPT Supervisor for both Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and High Intensity Therapists, trained in IAPT Couples Therapy for Depression and completed an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

I have had the privilege of working in Management, Supervision and Mentoring for therapists since 2016, with my particular interest in supporting new trainees through their university undergraduate and postgraduate Counselling and Psychotherapy courses.

I have a keen interest in supporting the growth of individuals and the community, positively facilitating change, raising the voices of those who are unheard and believing in, as well as supporting people regain their own power to live a truer version of themselves.
